Moose Trail Lotto is an online lottery ticket service operated by MooseTrailLotto under license from the Québec Lottery Corporation (Loto-Québec). Our Service allows eligible adults to purchase and manage official lottery tickets for selected draws conducted by the relevant lottery operator. By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Service.
IMPORTANT NOTICE – REAL-MONEY LOTTERY PRODUCTS
Moose Trail Lotto provides access to official lottery tickets for eligible adults 18+ located in
Québec. Lottery products are games of chance and involve financial risk. There is no guarantee of
winning, and you may lose the money you spend on tickets. Please play responsibly and only with
funds you can comfortably afford to lose.
1. Eligibility and Age Restriction
The Service is intended solely for individuals who meet all of the following conditions:
- You are at least eighteen (18) years of age (or a higher age if required by applicable law).
- You are a resident of Québec or otherwise legally permitted to participate in the relevant lottery games.
- You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
- You are accessing the Service from a jurisdiction where participation in the offered lottery products is lawful.
By creating an account or using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet all of the above eligibility requirements. We reserve the right to request proof of age and identity at any time and to suspend or close accounts where eligibility cannot be verified.
2. Nature of the Service
Moose Trail Lotto acts as an intermediary and ticket service provider for official lottery games offered by the Québec Lottery Corporation (Loto-Québec) or other relevant lottery operators, where applicable. We do not conduct lottery draws ourselves and do not determine winning numbers or prize structures.
Through the Service you may:
- select lottery games and ticket types that are made available to you;
- submit purchase requests and payment details for official lottery tickets;
- view and manage details of your purchased tickets and entries; and
- access information about draw dates, results, and prize structures, provided for your convenience.
All tickets purchased through Moose Trail Lotto correspond to official entries in the underlying lottery system. The conduct of draws, determination of winning numbers, and allocation of prizes are the sole responsibility of the official lottery operator and are governed by their rules and regulations.
3. User Accounts and Security
To use certain features of the Service, including purchasing tickets, you must create a Moose Trail Lotto account. When you create an account, you agree to:
- provide accurate, current, and complete information as requested during registration;
- promptly update such information if it changes;
- keep your login credentials (email and password) confidential and secure;
- immediately notify us of any suspected unauthorized use of your account or other security breach.
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account, whether or not you authorized them. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your account credentials.
4. Ticket Purchases, Payments, and Confirmations
When you submit an order to purchase lottery tickets through the Service, you authorize us to:
- charge your selected payment method for the total ticket cost and any applicable fees; and
- procure official lottery tickets on your behalf in accordance with your instructions.
A purchase is considered successfully completed only when:
- your payment has been authorized and processed; and
- the corresponding ticket details have been registered and confirmed in your Moose Trail Lotto account.
You are responsible for reviewing your ticket details (game, date, numbers, number of lines, etc.) and for ensuring they match your intended selection. If you believe an error has occurred, you must contact us as soon as possible. We may, at our discretion and where permitted by the lottery operator, cancel or adjust a transaction; however, not all tickets can be amended or refunded once purchased.
All times and cut-off deadlines displayed on the Service are provided for informational purposes and are based on our internal systems and the rules of the underlying lottery operator. Orders submitted after a cut-off deadline may be processed for a subsequent draw or rejected.
5. Results, Prizes, and Payouts
Draw results displayed on the Service are provided for your convenience and are based on information made available by the official lottery operator. In the event of any discrepancy between our displayed results and the official results, the official published results shall prevail.
Prize structures, prize amounts, and payout rules are determined by the underlying lottery operator and may be subject to change or to specific legal and regulatory conditions. We do not guarantee the availability, amount, or timing of any prizes.
Depending on the type and amount of prize:
- smaller prizes may be credited to you via the payment method or account mechanism we specify; and
- larger prizes may require you to complete additional verification steps and/or to claim directly from the lottery operator, in accordance with their rules.
We reserve the right to withhold or delay prize payments where required by law, by our license conditions, or where we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse, or violation of these Terms.
6. Responsible Play and Risk Acknowledgement
By using the Service and purchasing lottery tickets, you acknowledge and agree that:
- lottery products are games of chance with long odds of winning major prizes;
- you may lose some or all of the money spent on tickets; and
- you are solely responsible for deciding how much to spend and for ensuring that your participation remains affordable and balanced.
